Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submitted files are suitable for anonymous reviewing.
  • The submitted work is an original creation by the submitting author.
  • Any co-authors have been listed.
  • The journal is given the right to publish the work.

Author Guidelines

A title and an abstract are required at the time of submission.

Submitted files should be suitable for anonymous reviewing and should not contain metadata, citations, or acknowledgements that help identify their authors.

Submission implies (a) that the work is an original creation by the submitting author, (b) that any co-authors have been listed, and (c) that the Journal of Human Cognition is given the right to publish the work.
